Enter 1647 and experience the real world of European colonists through their own words, as well as the darkness that pervaded their everyday lives. Sit with us in the dark and hear about superstitions of the day and the belief that danger—both physical and supernatural—was all around.
This event will discuss mature themes and is held inside our 19th century barn in complete darkness for extended periods. Appropriate outdoor clothing is recommended. Darkness is not a haunted house, though traditionally “scary’ topics will be examined. Phones and light sources are not permitted. This event is not recommended for children under 10, adult supervision is mandatory.
