Connecticut’s Hidden History: 1640-1848

This University of Connecticut Osher Lifelong Learning Institute course explores notable events and periods in Connecticut history through untold or unknown stories of the people and places which participated. Presented by the Executive Director and Programs & Collections Director of Westport Museum for History & Culture, the hidden history of Connecticut comes alive through original objects, artifacts and archival materials from the museum’s collection.
This ten-week course will culminate with an in-person visit to the Westport Museum and Main Street to explore how the town relates to the course’s themes.
